The last couple of weeks have seen a few big announcements in the industry both in Australia and overseas. Aruguably the biggest announcement is that Disney California Adventure will be changing the Tower of Terror into Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! We discuss our initial reactions as well as what this means for the park moving forwards.

Last week also saw the announcement that virtual reality will be introduced to Arkham Asylum: Shock Therapy at Warner Bros. Movie Word. We talk about how VR will impact on the ride experience and how it has impacted the industry as a whole with the likes of Six Flags implementing the technology overseas.

Another announcement out of Australia is the opening of the Star Tour also at Warner Bros. Movie World. With special behind the scenes experiences and other perks we discuss whether we think it is a worthwhile investment while also looking at Dreamworld's VIP Experience which was introduced earlier this year.
