This episode we discuss another huge week in the theme park industries with announcements coming from many of the big park chains. We begin by discussing news out of Disneyland with the closing date of the night time spectaculars including Paint the Night, World of Color Celebrate, and Disneyland Forever being so close and what this could possibly mean for Walt Disney World with their 45th anniversary looming. Also in Orlando we discuss the reopening of the Hulk rollercoaster at Universal Islands of Adventure and how cool some of their new effects look.

We also look elsewhere in the industry with announcements for the 2017 season with Hershey Park Announcing an interesting choose-your-thrill drop tower trio called Hershey Triple Tower which has received criticism from the community. Also Kings Island announced Mystic Timers, a GCI wooden coaster with a special twist. The hashtage #whatsintheshed is creating more questions than the announcement initially answered. Also, Cedar Point announced that Mean Streak will close forever at the end of the season via a video of an old lumberjack hacking at the wooden support structure. It has been widely suggested by the community this will become the next ride to receive the RMC treatment like Iron Rattler at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Also a couple of articles out of Six Flags Great Adventure on more the trivial side of things. Firstly a rather rediculous case of the fashion please striking a young lady at the park entrance. See the picture for yourself on this article and see it for yourself. Also, another young lady is suing the park for damages after breaking her ankle on their King Cobra slide after a life guard was being negligent.

Midsummer Scream happened in LA this week too which saw Knott's Scary Farm have an announcements with new Skeleton Key addon perks involving escape rooms. Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood also had a major announcement around mazes for 2016 which will see 4 of the most iconic horror characters at the event. Also Six Flags Magic Mountain announced the inclusion of Suicide Squad at this years event which could mean it's a potential property for Warner Bros. Movie World to use at their Fright Nights event.

We also discuss our main topic which covers a range of different behind the scenes tours and VIP experiences that parks offer across North America and whether we see any value in them. From special tours at Disneyland and Disney World to getting an elevator to the top of a roller coaster lift hill at sunrise there is a large diversity of tours which cater for all sorts of theme park fans.
